The Wireless transmission of data/signal suffers from fading and interference effects which creates a problem for signal recovery in wireless communication hence these effects can be controlled by the equalizer. The MIMO system uses multiple antennas at the transmitter and receiver to exploit multipath propagation. The paper emphasizes various channel equalization algorithms recognized for sub-optimum MIMO detection which include Zero Forcing (ZF), Minimum Mean Square Error (MMSE), ZF-SIC, and MMSE-SIC equalizers, the performance is evaluated for 2*2 and 4*4 MIMO wireless channels using various modulation schemes in which BER is taken for consideration. The implementation work is carried out through MATLAB toolbox version 2018b.
  <publication_date media_type='online'> <month>11</month> <day>30</day> <year>2022</year> </publication_date> <pages> <first_page>23</first_page> <last_page>28</last_page> </pages> <crossmark> <crossmark_version>CC BY-NC-ND 4.0</crossmark_version> <crossmark_policy>10.35940/BEIESP.CrossMarkPolicy</crossmark_policy> <crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain> <domain>www.ijrte.org</domain> </crossmark_domain> </crossmark_domains> <crossmark_domain_exclusive>true</crossmark_domain_exclusive> </crossmark> <doi_data> <doi>10.35940/ijrte.D7319.1111422</doi> <resource>https://www.ijrte.org/portfolio-item/d73191111422/</resource> </doi_data> </journal_article>
