Abstract: Steganography is covert communication of a secret message hidden in a medium passed between the intended sender and receiver with no evidence that the work contains a hidden message. The paper proposes a heuristic approach in steganography to secretly embed message in the cover and make use of the Diffie-Hellman key exchange method to be passed on to a secure channel and to be extracted without being detected. Hence the proposed system is a hybrid crypto stego scehme. The study proposes a new and adaptive steganography method that provides multiple layer of security and adaptiveness in passing secret data which emphasizes on undetectability.
