Abstract: Learning a language and acquiring mastery over the language is important to have progression in the competitive field of profession. English language paves the way to have a strong foothold in one’s profession. It is not just a language of communication but it is the lingua franca across the globe. It is the core component in the field of education, technology, employment, intellectuality and career. Proficiency in English helps engineers land on some of the best paid jobs in the country. The focus of this paper is to scale the present milieu of the technical world, role and importance of communication in it, and the need for an engineer to sustain his talent as well as succor the world with technical skills and communication skills.
