Abstract: In daily life, waste management is considered as one of the biggest issue faced by printing industry. When comparing with the other industries, the risk factors involved in printing industries are very high. Hence, it is necessary to find out the critical risk factors involved in waste management. In order to analyse this problem, Elimination and Choice Translating Reality (ELECTRE)-I, a Multi-Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) method is utilized. ELECTRE-I method is capable of providing solutions for the complex engineering problems. The ELECTRE-I is used to rank the printing industries associated with risk factors in waste management in printing industries. The result obtained will be helpful for the managers and practitioners working in printing industries.
