Abstract: The theoretical analysis and conceptual approaches to the clarification of the definition of “globalization” have been formulated, and the meaningful interpretation of the concepts of “globalization”, “internationalization” and “international economic integration” has been presented. The main directions of globalization processes and their influence on the development of financial mediation have been investigated.
