Abstract: In this article the coupled convection diffusion equations of Magneto- hydrodynamic flow problem have been solved. The solution of the problem is presented for various cross sections like square, rectangle, triangle, circle, ellipse, sector and annulus under steady state conditions. Ducts which are electrically insulated walls have been considered in this study. Some contours are presented to show the behaviors of the magnetic field and velocity.
Keywords: Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Flow, Finite Difference Method, Insulated Walls, Polygonal Duct, Circular Duct.
