Abstract: This paper boons a novel algorithm for eye blink artifact removal from EEG signal based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD). The methodology applied here based on the uniqueness similar signal which can improve the quality in the processing of EEG signals. It may be uses to denoise the Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. Simulation results based on the EEG database expressed the improved method which can effectively remove the noise of EEG wave and makes the characteristics of EEG more obvious. The analysis and validity of the proposed algorithm is examined with help of signal to artifact ratio and this algorithm is compared with EMD followed by independent component analysis (ICA) techniques.
