Abstract: This study examines the role of worksite interventions on employee occupational stress. With the empirical support the study constructs are determined and accordingly hypothetical statements are constructed to test the effect. Such that, a convenience sample technique was adoptedand 660 employees working in the IT industry are considered and the geographical location of the population is hyderabad city, India. The demographic characteristics are analyzed using a contingency table and to test dependent association relation between occupational stress variables and workplace interventions chi-square test was adopted. It is found from this study that, except possession of ownership behavior all the constructs participation and active involvement, overall stress, absenteeism and establishment of health and wellbeing culture have and dependent association relation with workplace wellness interventions.
