Abstract: In this project, importance of Energy audit, management and control are put forth as need for future power crisis. A sincere attempt has been made to conduct energy audit in every electrical home appliance using the advanced technology of Internet of Things. In this system proper energy management algorithm as well as power factor correction is also used to reduce the overall monthly average power consumption in a home. Also, detailed analysis of data collected is done by suggesting cost-effective measures to improve the energy efficiency of use. Estimation of implementation costs and payback periods for each recommended action has been made. The result & vital information generated through these activities are documented. The Energy Auditing for a day is the index of the consumption which normalize the situation of Energy crises by providing the conservation schemes.
